My life has been steeped in Fine Art and creativity from childhood, encouraged by my father and studying Art Teaching at the South Australian School of Art under the tutelage of famed artists Gordon Samstag, Dora Chapman, Sid Ball, Dave Dallwitz & Geoff Wilson. Having been a Classic Old Master genre painter/portraitist throughout my life, has opened many doors and I now undertake my oil portraits from my Art studio in the Adelaide Hills. My style is highly decorative, ornamental, emotional and ethereal in the Pre-Raphaelite mode. Although I’ve exhibited in many solo and shared exhibitions, my field of practise is to capture the ‘Beauty in Art’, through the sheer enjoyment of portraying the narratives of my family, friends, their dogs and cats, in their natural surroundings
